Caetano Cury é jornalista, publicitário, aquarelista e quadrinista, autor dos quadrinhos Téo & O Mini Mundo, série de tirinhas em aquarela indicada três vezes ao troféu HQMix. Caetano tem suas raízes em Guaxupé, Sul de Minas Gerais. Foi apresentador e repórter da Rádio Bandeirantes de São Paulo. Trabalhou também nas rádios BandNews FM e CBN de Ribeirão Preto-SP. Como repórter de rádio, ganhou o prêmio Vladimir Herzog de Jornalismo e Direitos Humanos. É integrante do podcast Meio Rádio, vencedor do troféu APCA concedido pela Associação Paulista de Críticos de Artes. Caetano foi ainda ilustrador da Folha de S. Paulo, ganhou prêmio no Salão Internacional de Humor de Piracicaba, teve obra publicada no Enem e deu curso de produção de quadrinhos no SESC.
Caetano Cury is brazilian journalist, publicitary, watercolorist and comic artist, author of the comics Téo & O Mini Mundo, series nominated for the HQMix trophy. He is originally from Guaxupé, located in Minas Gerais state. Caetano was anchor and reporter with Radio Bandeirantes of São Paulo. He also worked on BandNews FM and CBN, radio stations in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo state.
As a radio reporter, he won the Vladimir Herzog Award for Journalism and Human Rights. He is a member of the Meio Rádio podcast, winner of the APCA trophy granted by the São Paulo Association of Art Critics.
Before joining Radio Brandeirantes, Caetano was an illustrator for Folha de S. Paulo, a major Brazilian newspaper. He won prestigious awards by the International Humor Exhibition of Piracicaba and had his work published by Enem (a non-mandatory, standardized Brazilian national exam, which evaluates high school students). Caetano taught comic production classes at SESC (a non-profit organization acting throughout Brazil with the purpose of promoting culture and good-living among workers and traders and their families).
